The Rapture, is it real? How do you know?
This is a question for Christians and Bible Scholars. I want evidence of your reasoning, book and verses, for example.
If there IS a rapture, is this before, after, or AT the Second Coming of Christ in his Glory that all the World will See?

6th seal, 6th trump, 6th vial = anti (instead of)-Christ = satan himself come to deceive the world. 6 comes before seven; 7th seal, 7th trump, 7th vial= the return of the true Christ. No "Left Behind" movie or books are truth. There is no rapture. The word rapture is not in the Bible and the only way one can come close to the word is distortion through latin. The Bible was written in Hebrew and Greek; not latin. The true Christ returns only once more and that's at the last, the 7th trump. Better to have the oil, the truth in your lamps when the true Christ returns than to be deceived by the instead of Christ and be shut out of the wedding. We are told to stay in the field, the world until the true Christ returns. God never took any out of tribulation, but He always saw them through. We will go through the tribulation of the anti-Christ and Gods elect will stand for God during that time.

1 Corinthians 15:51-54 - Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed - in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory."
Proof: We have clear proof of a rapture (it occurs at the same time as the resurrection).
Now let's look at Daniel 12:
Dan. 12:1-3 - At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people — everyone whose name is found written in the book — will be delivered. Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.
Proof: We have clear proof of a rapture (it occurs at the same time as the resurrection).
Now look at 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18:
1 Thess: 4:15-18 - According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words.
Proof: We have clear proof of a rapture (it occurs at the same time as the resurrection).
So, the next time someone tries saying that someone named John Darby, Margaret Mcdonald, or Scholfield dreamed up the rapture in the last two hundred years, show them 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18, 1 Corinthians 15:51-54, and Daniel 12:1-3.
This event has always been in the Bible.
So what happens to people who are 'raptured'? They go to God's kingdom in heaven. Jesus said:
Matthew 5:18-19 - I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Jesus also said...
John 14:1-3 - "Your heart must not be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if not, I would have told you. I am going away to prepare a place for you. If I go away and prepare a place for you, I will come back and receive you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also."

The Rapture has no basis in Scripture, it was invented in 1827 by a defrocked Anglican Clergyman named John Nelson Darby and wasn't even accepted as part of Christian theology until the early 20th century, and then only be the Evangelical Denominations. The Catholics, Orthodox, Anglicans, Coptics, and many others still don't believe in it. As to how we would "know", obviously there's no way we can know for sure, religious matters have to be taken on faith and we only "know" what we can prove.

Yes, EVERY OTHER PROPHECY IN THE BIBLE HAS COME TRUE, and I truly believe that the rapture is near, because of all the signs in the Bible. The probability that just 15 of the prophecies in the Bible coming true for anyone would be the same odds as picking up a specific silver dollar in a pile of silver dollars 2 ft. deep the size of TExas.
That's how i know:)
Lots of love in Christ,

If it seems like the paper work is in order...doesn't it seem to be?...Interpretations of the book vary...but if you read revelations and don't see the end you are truely blind.(It is the end of the book)
For your answer....He will be there.(He has to break the seals). How old will he be at the time or will he just materialize doesn't realy matter it says he'll be there.... definatly not later ... He wouldn't miss that.. For the world...

1 Thess 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
