how many of you here think that the streets in saudi need a makeover?
especially in jeddah (cause it's the second largest city and attracts many tourists).
i think the streets need to be redone. so many holes and bumpy roads.
@ rannoooo: that's my point, if someone keeps mentioning it, they'll do something about it.

Yes the roads need makeover. I dont understand the rich country like saudi arabia have low quality roads. Look at city center in riyadh, worst city center in the world.

Yes the streets need to be made over and then they should get more police to actually enforce traffic laws so that people will drive in a civilized way. And also enforce the law about no littering so that there will not be garbage everywhere.

Not all the streets but some really need a makeover otherwise our cars will get screwed up...

......Roads are subjected to wear and tear in due time and needs to be repaired or replaced with new one......Here in Eastern province highways, there is usually detours due to road repairs but the small streets in the cities were not that much given priority.....I dont know why, maybe because it will cause more traffic compared to highways since streets are narrow....

An earthquake is needed first. Then fire all people currently residing at municipalities, finally award contracts based on quality not cheapness.
