Why do so many muslims com to YA asking how to pray?

Muslims must pray 5 times a day(combined the time takes about 1 hour of a Muslim's daily life). Prayer is the most important part of religion and must be near perfection.

Islam is the largest faith by number of PRACTICING followers. Since there are 1.5 billion Muslims in the world it shouldn't be too surprizing.

If you actually read what gets posted you will see they all have different answers to the question and none of them say them same thing I have asked many questions about muslim faith and they all give a different answer as far as praying what they do is ritualistic they believe it has to be done at certain times in a certain direction and you must not cross in front of them or you will block there prayer to god they wash their hands face feet arms some use prayer beeds I had a roomate that was muslim he drove me nuts with that chanting and not to mention the huge water mess he would leave in the bathroom I never saw him read the koran but he was forever interupting me when I read the bible or was praying very rude as for christians that follow the faith they pray just as often they just dont make the big spectical out of it( well some dont) I pray when I get up before food after food before bed when I need strength wherever I am walking down the road so I dont really see that they pray more just draw more attention to it it and I can tell you this catholics pray alot at least some and the prayer ritual muslims use as far as the bowing kneeling and such is done by apiscopalians a branch off catholics if you dont believe that is where it came from go into one of their churchs and look for yourself that is how they do it too where do you think muslim got it from as for their knowledge of islam how do you think so many get lead into jihad in closing the best prayers come from the heart and are sometimes just saying help

The Muslim Community give practice as to how to pray from their very childhood 5 times a day. So they don't want to approach any one with the doubt of "how to pray". They are a bit strict in that respect too. Other religions are not that strict about their timely prayers and attendance to Church/temple.

Muslims have 5 times ritual prayers unlike other religions. This prayer has to be done in specific way.

Moreover, prayer is important for Muslims unlike others.

we muslims try and learn everyday because we WANT to know more and more of our religion

its not that we dont pay attention to masjids

we cant learn EVERYTHING in masjids?

there are hadis, quraan that we want to find out about

whereas catholics and buddhists etc are concernd they are not enthusiastic about their religion they believe what they have been thaugh is enough

whereas muslims want to explore every thing to try and see how mashallah amazing their religion is :)

Those are probably Muslim reverts, but there are many born Muslims who don't know the right way of doing things, like putting their elbows on the ground when in prostration.

Some born Muslims don't appreciate being Muslim.

Mashallah when they take interest to learn.

It could be that they're recent reverts to Islam, or that they are not affiliated with a masjid.

I think it's admirable that they're at least trying to learn about their religion.

They are on here to try to change other pople beliefs, Trying to make them Muslims, sorry they are 39 yrs too late to try to change my mind.
