I disagree with the whole concept that our federal government has the obligation or the right to make any decisions about my health care.

Strange......."you lie" and "Bury Obamacare with Kennedy" are not part of President Obama's "agenda". They're merely hateful statements made by fact challenged people whose only agenda is to attempt to demean and discredit our President every chance they get. I have a tremendous amount of faith in President Obama. As far as I'm concerned, his "agenda" is to pass a law which will make health care more accessible and less expensive. Pretty simple, actually.

What I object to most is having a man in the presidency who has promised far more than any mortal human being can accomplish. That speaks to a credibility gap from day one of the campaign. With that going against him in my thinking, it makes it hard for me to accept his motives.

It is also distressing that the 'flock' was so swept up in his messianic promise, 'hope' pushed aside common sense.

So I am working from a position of skepticism which compounds my rejection to basic policies that I feel can hurt the country.

This is a very broad question. Perhaps it would make more sense for you to give us an Obama proposal that YOU like, and tell us why you like it. For example, perhaps you like Cap n Trade, and you think it will lower the earth's temperature. Tell us exactly how much this law would lower the earth's temperature. We will respond, first by laughing at you, because it won't lower the earth's temperature at all. But then we could go on to explain some of the many ways it will be harmful to the US economy. You might learn something.

Why would I be bothered by Obama doing what we elected him to do ("we" meaning the majority of voters)?

He lied saying illegals would not get benefits from the health care bill. Given there is no way provided in the bill to determine if they are illegals this is factually a lie. Illegals are only "banned" from one section of the bill. Democrats have turned down ammendments that would have removed these loopholes. Which would lead one to assume that they support giving benifits to illgeals. To claim otherwise seems like a lie unless you have some reasoning behing it which I yet to hear.

I know Obama wants to destroy the private sector and take over- that takes away our freedom~! It will also make our healthcare SUCK! Plus it will put us much deeper in debt- govt cannot even run a post office properly- they are broke and about to close 700 Post offices! May even not deliver mail on Sat. anymore! What happens when the Medical goes broke- do they kill 70000 people?
