One Life to Live does not get the attention it deserves?
Did anyone watch yesterdays show? 9-15. The acting was unbelievable. Especially the actors that play Destiny and her brother Greg. Their reaction to Sean's shooting and surgery was unbelievable. I cried thought the whole episode. And I takes a lot to make me cry. What did you think?

OLTL has been consistently great for at least the past year. They've had so many great s/ls going on at once and very few lulls. Yesterday was one of the most emotional shows yet. Destiny was heart-breaking, and Matthew climbing out of his wheelchair to comfort her... and Jess and Brody! As for Greg, I've never liked him, but maybe they're starting to humanize him, so we'll see. I still can't understand why this show got so few nominations at the Daytime Emmys!

Yesterday's episode was a great one! I was really proud to see Destiny act with so much emotion. (I got teary-eyed when Mathew got in the floor to comfort her). And the acting by Greg yesterday? Wow. I was very impressed. I was determined not to like him because until yesterday, he was just arrogant. Hopefully, they'll show a more likable side to him (like yesterday's episode) from time to time if he's gonna stay on the show.
I thought Brody & Jessica's scenes were great, too.

I enjoyed the episode.
I did not cry but did get a little choked up.
I thought Destiny did a great job. Much better acting than previously.
I was not impressed with Greg. Maybe that's just me, since I don't like the character.

I've always felt OLTL was highly underrated. For the past 2-3 years (at least) it has been consistently better than AMC, but if you pick up a soap mag (and I do frequently), you'll see 1/2 page about OLTL and a 2-page spread on AMC. I'm still crying over Shaun and Destiny and Matthew really made my heart hurt - especially when he climbed down out of his chair to comfort her. I've seen some criticisms about Greg's acting, but I completely disagree. The expression on his face when he knew he had to tell his family about Shaun was classic. And mama and daddy aren't any slouches either.

Yes I agree about Destiny but for some reason I really don't care for Greg too much.. It's almost like he is trying to hard.. The girl who plays Destiny has really improved lately..

Anyone can pound someone in the chest and pretend to cry. Her acting is still not so good, seems fake to me. I was touched by the scene even so. I do believe as time goes by, Destiny will get better but not yet in my opinion.

I agree! I actually think it is the best of the ABC soaps right now, it usually is 10 out of 12 months! The acting is phenomenal there and they know how to honor their history instead of trample all over it and ruin it!
