How do you get rid of a pull in a skirt?

I have this favorite skirt of mine that somehow & accidentally got a pull in it. It's pretty big. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

It doesn't always work because it depends on the fiber content. But, it is successful more times than not so it is worth a try. Pull the fabric taughtly in the same direction of the pull to release it. If it was a snag that caused it, take a large needle and push the snag from the front on to the back of the fabric. Some times you need a magnifying glass because if you don't get the snag pulled straight through to the back it will be noticeable, so carefully inspect the weave of the fabric to match it straight through.
