Becuz Yale is a top university in the world and people can't believe a straight out of the horror flick style crime would ever happen at a place where everyone is supposed to be well behaved and civil
The way she was strangled and stuffed in a 24 inch cable box in a animal lab basement is straight out of the movies that's why

It's been pretty dry these days with the news channels being 100% focused on the health care issue. People are sick of that and want to hear something else for a change, bad or good.

Because it's so tragic. I feel horrible for her family and her fiance, she was so young, she had such a great future in front of her. I mean, she was about to get married and her body was found on her would-be wedding day!
It's like something off a mystery murder novel, gorgeous successful student killed a week before her wedding day, body found the day of the wedding.

Some of the back story is insane: The (alleged) murderer throttled this girl because he was upset with the way the girl treated lab animals?! Ladies and gentlemen, this one is wacky out of the gate. Maybe this punk is a big Cass Sunstein fan who could not control his passion for the rights of small, furry rodents. (sorry... couldn't resist)

a young innocent girl lost her life at a very prominent school. People want to know why and how it could happen. Colleges aren't supposed to deal with this stuff and the public should know what is going on.
