Whats the absolute loudest exhaust on the market for a Buell Lightning XB12Scg?
Whats the absolute loudest exhaust on the market for a Buell Lightning XB12Scg? I have heard D&D make the loudest but I've also heard that Termignoni makes the loudest, and the same goes for the Drummer exhaust, any info would be greatly appreciated.

Great, another loud Harley owner. You actually WANT the "loudest" pipe you can get? Good luck with the REST of the decisions you make in this life.
Like the other guy said, just saw your stupid muffler off. Either way it's going to suck all the torque out of your engine. Whoop-de-do.

The D&D is the loudest pipe which is what I have on my 08 xb12xt, but the Jardine makes alot more power and is 2nd loudest. You will lose about 4 ft lbs of torque and about 4 hp. Thats considering you go with the pre-programmed ecm from EBR. Otherwise you will lose alot more, I just did the K&N, airbox mod and a few other little tricks to equalize the loss. The pro to this is... Harley guys dig it lol other than that its loud, most riders wear ear plugs either way, some don't. Its a personal preference. here's your answer without all the stupid remarks and comments man.

You want LOUD.....here you go.......

EDIT: About the comment below about the STOCK mufflers being quiet.....the stock muffler on the Buell's makes the most PEAK horsepower compared to almost all aftermarket systems.....note I said PEAK hp, this is in the 6500-7000 rpm range. Almost all the aftermarket systems will produce the same peak hp #'s, BUT also produce a significant gain in USEABLE...MIDRANGE hp and torque in the 3000-5000 rpm range......THIS is the rpm range in which MOST of your riding is done and where you want the increase in power!!!!

Do you not have noise ordinances where you live? Remember, they're cracking down on loud exhaust everywhere so no matter what you put on it, keep the stock exhaust to reinstall it after you get the ticket.

It's called an open pipe. Just take the muffler off. It will be loud. Your bike will run like crap, you will lose HP and rideability, your neighbors will hate you, you will become cop fodder, but it will be loud.
Good luck with that.

A quiet muffler is one of the Buell's strong points. You should be hunted down and strung up by your thumbs for even asking this question.
