You already have the cake, cups, napkins, and table cloth. I don't see what else you would really need, but they definitely don't need to go with the theme you could buy pink instead of princess if you do need something else, getting colors instead of themes always tend to be a lot cheaper. I have 3 girls under 8 and I always get a small pinata for $15 put a bag of candy and a couple of boxes of fruit snacks and let them knock that around kids love pinatas. And it actually turns out to be less expensive then goody bags. As far as decorations go. Balloons are perfect and that's all you need. Buy a bag of 10-15 colored balloons blow them up your self and tape them to the chairs or fence or whatever. Leave a few not taped to anything so the kids can play with them, and you have yourself a fun, inexpensive party.

We've always had small birthday parties for the 1 yr olds. Seems best to keep the roar to a minimum. Usually only family or very close friends the baby is familiar with. They don't know or care so much about all the birthday fuss at that age. They also do better without so many things going on around them that might frighten them. It's up to her though.

It is her first birthday, so you should make it as special as possible, even if she doesn't remember. You can take pictures and show her when she's older, and she'll be grateful that you went to such trouble for her. Plus, it'll fun for the other kids at the party.
I think the Goodie Bags are a really sweet idea, and balloons would be really cute too. I don't think EVERYTHING has to be princess-themed, that could be just a little too expensive. And if you are doing the cake and the happy birthday at the park, then yes, I think it is sensible to open the pressies there too. Just make sure it's a nice day!
Have fun on you daughter's 1st. It will be a blast. :)

How old is she?
I'm only going to assume that it's her first- I wouldn't spend that much.
She's hardly going to remember it at all!
Just do something small, it's just throwing away money for a day she sadly won't remember when she's older.
