Should Governor David Paterson listen to President Obama and step down instead of running for re-election?

Patterson should do what he thinks is best for him and his state. Obama is not the ruler of the world. He's already sacked the CEO of GM and restructured the banks....do we really need him deciding who should and shouldn't run for Governor of a State? I don't think so.....

Seriously, Obama should keep his nose out of state issues (e.g., replacement for Kennedy, Paterson, etc....)

of course he should run and tell Obama to mind his own damn business. Why Obama is even meddling in those affairs is beyond me. Maybe he had better do some of this own work and stay out of New York.

Gov. Patterson needs to continue running for re-election

It isn't Obama's place to get involved in a state race. Patterson should ignore Obama completely and do what he feels is right.

Funny that Obama is saying this when he first ran for president he wasn't even a legitimate contender....

Also Patterson is blind legally...Obama is just blind b/c he lacks a brain and is ignorant.

He just wants to keep dems in power. And he could easily loose to a republican challenger. It's just to keep political power.
