Trying to choose between Mirena or Paragard?
Trying to choose between them. Please post your personal experiences. I'd like to hear the good, the bad and the ugly..lol! I'm not too terribly sensitive to hormones. I'm on the mini-pill but with my work schedule it's very hard to take it at the same time everyday considering that I'm not awake at the same time every day because of work. Please tell me about your experience and whether you'd recommend Mirena or Paragard. Thanks!!

I don't have any personal experience with it, but I've heard the Paragard causes heavier bleeding. Also, anything that isn't monthly will likely give you an unpredictable period. I use the Nuvaring because I hate having to take a pill everyday, and you just have to remember to remove it and insert it on the same day each month (you have one ring-free week a month). It's SO easy.
