I'd like to ask a vet or vet student or tech what the actual mortality rate of a dog with pancreatitis is. My vet is wonderful, but I feel she is not telling the reality of the situation as to whether she truly feels my dog is going to pull through or not.

So far he hasn't developed DIC, which I know is the main concern for a dog with pancreatitis. He was extremely dehydrated and his kidney function has yet to bounce back, she's worried about that, but feels that it's too soon to tell if his kidneys have shut down, and they are still waiting for him to urinate.

He's a 7 year old sheltie that was not overweight and was never fed any table food except for a piece of cheese once a month so he'd swallow his flea control pill. I've watched my mother's two chihuahua's die from being fed table food and promised myself I wouldn't make that mistake with my dogs.

The first blood test were run on Monday morning with horrible results, but the vet said that she was expecting them to be. She's given him the anti-vomiting meds and antibiotics and has him on IV fluids. She's not going to run any test until Wednesday and then she said we'd know more. The wait is killing me.

Low grade (indolent). I keep reading that it's treatable, not curable. How is this disease going to progress? Are there stages, meaning will she slowly deteriorate in stages? I just want to know what to expect. What I've read is that the life expectancy is 7-10 years.

I started taking the mini pill on Sept. 18th. Before I started taking it, the doctor did a pregnancy test, which was that same day. The last time I'd had sex was on Sept. 13th. The first day of my last period was Sept. 6th.

I should have started my period around the 4th of this month. I haven't gotten it yet. My doctor told me that the mini pill can eventually cause you to have no period.

I have no pregnancy symptoms. Has anyone else had the mini pill stop your period so quickly? If I haven't started my period by Monday, I'm buying a test (if I can wait that long).

I bought this game 3 days ago and I'm either making something that is very easy very complicated or I'm just not understanding the tutorial. My problem is trying to assign new citizens to jobs. I asked this question in a different room and would like other opinions on it. A very good friend of mine and yes....it really is a friend and not myself....has recently started attending church again. He's been married for over 10 years to a woman that trapped him into marriage by getting pregnant on purpose. He married her because he felt it was the right thing to do and to please his father. Since he's started attending church again, he's realized that he's unable to have the marriage he feels God wants him to have (a marriage to a woman he actually loves). Any opinions or similar circumstances?

He cares for his wife and has provide very well for her and the child, but now he's realized it will never be what he wants it to be, but he feels that divorce is against God. Would God really want him to be in a marriage without love? I've told him that it's not fair to him or her. She deserves to have a husband that loves her and he deserves to love and be loved also.

I have a friend who married his wife over 10 years ago because she got pregnant on purpose to trap him into marriage. He married her to please his father. He has provided well for his wife and child and has recently started to attend church again. He is starting to realize that he will never have the kind of marriage he wants with his wife. I was told by the lender that they are charging off the the balance of the car loan. The balance is less than 2,800.00 and is interest only. This is the balance of 6 payments I deferred thoughout the 6 year loan and the loan has matured.

They would not take any payments, they told me it had to be for the full amount.

They have told me that they are not reposessing the car because it is interest, the loan was past it maturity date and because it was small amount.

They will be turning the loan over to their charge off department.

Once it is turned over to their charge off department, what happens then and what is the best way to handle it? I have every intention of paying for the car, I want my title.

Ok, here is the situation. My ex is supposed to carry medical ins. on our son. He lives in Tx. & my son and I live in Ms. The coverage he chose during open enrollment for this year only covers our son in Tx. Before the policy was change (beginning Jan.1), we set up surgery for my son for Feb. The total amount of this surgery when everything is said & done will be close to $100k. It was done here in Ms. Now we are finding out that he had no coverage in Ms. and no out of network benefits. If we can not convince my ex's employer to change the policy & back date the coverage, I'm getting hit with these bills. When the surgery was scheduled in Oct., the policy he was on covered it & in Dec. was authorized by the ins. company. My custody papers state that my ex is 100% liable for all medial bills if he hasn't provided coverage. If these bills fall on me, I won't have a choice but to file bankruptcy. Any ideas on forcing the company to change and back date the policy or options?

My son is on crutches after having surgery to lengthen his leg. He has an external fixator device on his right leg and it is attached to 7 pins that are inserted in to the bones in his tibia. This past week he fell because the floors of the school were wet due to students tracking in water from the rain.

His crutches slid out from underneath him and he fell onto the leg with the device and broke his leg further, requiring surgery to insert 3 more pins to stablize his leg.

Could my insurance company refuse to pay the claim because the school could be liable?

How do you get a guard to subdue a prisoner? I click on the guard to get the green circle, then I click on the prisoner and the choice to subdue comes on the screen. I've tried left clicking and right clicking but nothing works. Please help!
