I have to say Stargirl from the JSA in DC. Her powers are nothing new, but the way they draw her and write for her really captures a teen aged girl. (I have never been one but anyway) They have had her with braces and a simple twinkle in her eyes that makes her unique in my opinion simply because of her depth

My fav. female comic book characters are:

Kitty Pryde(X-men) because shes really cool especially in astonishing x-men.

Jean Grey Phoenix(x-men) she just really has cool powers and shes the PHOENIX.

Black cat in marvel she more clever then female superheros and her body catch villains off guard. that my answer.
