If his car was not set up according to the Nascar-mandated specifications, then you have to penalize him. Of course, it's fair. Must have been a pretty insignificant infraction, though, for only 25 points. I just hope that all the teams are being subjected to equal scrutiny. I have no problem with Kyle getting penalties for this sort of thing- so long as someone else is not getting away with the same or worse.

its part of racing,he isn't in the chase so it really doesn't make a difference. When penalties are handed down the best way to show you can race clean is by winning clean.

WG, when i say 'he', i am referring to the entire 18 team. in NASCAR, the driver is the face of the team, so when you refer to a driver, you are generally referring to the team. As an analogy, when bill bilacheat obtained that illegal film of his opponents defenses a couple of years ago, i'm quite sure his players did not personally see the film, but they sure reaped the benefits of it by having a heads up on the other teams defensive schemes and formations, just as kyle busch reaped the benefits of having an aero advantage in sunday's race.

It was fairly light compared to other fines & stuff for infractions for the COT.

that is what the rule says it is suppose to be for all not just some
