Canon BG-E5
Transforms the camera in portrait mode, also has space for an extra power cell for prolonged shoots.
Well worth the effort in tracking one down.

The Canon BG E-5 is what you are looking for. Cost is $118 from B&H Photo in the U.S. If you are in Britain you should be able to get it at Jessops.
