christians: How would you respond if you found out that Jesus was/is a Muslim?

hm you know Christianity abd Judaism are names given my people to describe the two religions, God never named the religion christianity nor did Jesus, man did, the same goes with Judaism, man gave it this name, show me a verse in the Torah were God says " I name you as Jews", wont happen. Islam like the brother said is an arabic word, it mean "Submission to God" and that is translated very very losely, has a comprehensive meaning, but we will stick with that. All the prophets did this, im sure you will agree. The Quran says "Abraham was not a Jew nor a Christian but he was Muslim". This isnt intended to just describe another religion that came 600 years ago but describes the religion followed by Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Mohammad peace be upon them.

If it was said Jesus was in submission to God, surrendered to his will, in full obedience, in sincerity and as a result gained peace would you disagree to that? no, in arabic that is called muslim.

Now if youre going to tell me Adam was a christian, Jesus was a jew or whatever, I think you might be forgetting that theese are just names men have given to describe the religion, and evidently in some cases, people who hate the religion have named it this, christianity is a latin word lol so whatever my friends.

A christian will tell a jew, "you should be christian because yes what you are following is right but then Jesus came to straighten what you are not following right" and this seems a plausible argument in there eyes, yet when a Muslim says " Mohammad (SAW) came after and was sent with a law that mankind shall follow, he is the last of the prophets they say "no no no how can that be".

May I remind you Jesus was only sent to the Jews, not as a prophet for mankind, read the bible lol. why do you think the torah and the bible dont exist today, lol. The Quran exists today the way it did at the time of Muhammad (SAW), Quran means recitation and millions and millions of people around the world know the whole Quran off by heart 114 chapters, 6000 verses. I became Muslim just over a year ago from christianty and i know 10 chapters. But yeah if you wnt to follow a book whcih is not in its original form, has been changed by man, and outdated it is up to you. And insulut a prophet who was sent for mankind it is your choice. Because you see the prophet (SAW) said: "every prophet was sent with miracles and my miracle is the Quran so I hope that my followers will be more on the day of judgement". . . This is why the Quran is unchanged. . But if you dont think its possible another prophet came after jesus even though there are prophecies in the bible and it would be logical for a christian then dont worry, jam, chill, its up to you. I hope we all get guided to the straight path, a muslim says this in there prayers around 16 times a day.

I think at that time there was one more or less monotheistic religion in that area, that only started to grow apart into different streams in the second half of the 1st century AD and then another stream that we know now as Islam in or around the 7th century. Seems to me the origin is the same, all three streams have largely developed due to what their leaders and writers developed it to. So your question is a bit odd but not as much as many people might think. I would not follow either one of these streams though, because although not 100& atheist i consider myself as non-religious.

Yes,Ibrahim,David,Moses were Jews,but to Muslims,they are Muslims because they followed the will of God.

When Jesus comes again,whose religion will he recognise as his own? If he chooses Islam,which Muslims know he will,will they then realise that what they are following is not the religion of the noble prophets of before?

I dont think any Christian could really deny Christ when that time comes.

1. I would not have to respond in any way. Jesus is not a Muslim. If He was or is, then He would have told us so.

2. "Not My will but Yours be done" was spoken by Jesus directly to His Father, Almighty God, in the Garden of Gethsemane before His arrest. He was NOT in a "state of Islam", otherwise He would have told us so.

3. I would never renounce my faith in God and Christ Jesus my Saviour to ANY religion on the face of this earth. Here is some news for you, sir. Almighty God does not recognize any man-made religion in this world but His own. It is written in the Book of James in the Holy Bible, chapter 1, verse 27.

4. Muslims call Almighty God by a name. I believe it is Allah. God does not write in His Word that He has a name. Humans give Him names (Allah, Yahweh, Jehovah). I understand that God is His title, but Jesus Himself tells us to call Him "Father", as we have no other Father than God.

Jesus said that the will of God is to trust in Him ( Jesus ). So, a good Muslim must become a Christian, right?

If they were capable if believing such a scenario their world would crumble. The problem is that Islam was "invented" long after the death of Jesus as a Arab alternative. Both religions are ridiculous in basis and scope.
