Update:

People saying he's simply joking... doesn't sound like he's joking to me.

As a hardcore conservative, I believe that Glenn Beck is a dangerous ultra-conservative who should be ignored.

And, not because of this story.

I voted for McCain and really don't know. No one does. We all have opinions.

    What I see are dangerous trends and relationships from this man. I find it difficult to refer to anyone as "czar" due to it's negative connotations but that is only semantics. My concerns are;

Health care-Every thing I see here will change health care as we know it and the democrats are going down a familiar path-spend money to solve the problem. It solves nothing ,it only gets govt more involved and people begin to depend on the govt to bail them out. Nationalized health care sounds free. There is nothing free. More taxes for our children. This will go the way of social security and eventually be bankrupt and leave a hugh debt.

Let's talk about the stimulus package. Again govt throwing $ at a problem that I believe it should have left alone.Let the auto co's sink and another more efficient one will emerge. This is pure economics. When UNCLE SAM mess with it , it goes downhill from there.

If McCain were there, I don't think it could be worse. Time will tell.

Here is the deal, had McCain been put into office, he would have created more problems for the republicans. Obama on the other hand has single handedly destroyed the democrats ability to hold power beyond 2010. They will be swept out in a big way. So if you have to look ahead and see who would have been worse for the conservatives, McCain would have been worse for them...because Obama has galvanized the nation against the liberal radicals. McCain could never have done that :)

  • He's right. McCain isn't conservative enough, he's far too liberal.

Obama being in, and attempting to establish his radical policies, has re-invented the Republican party (excluding those in Congress already) into intense conservatism again. Not only that, but now the destruction of our country will be blamed on a liberal instead of a liberal conservative, and will allow sweeping change, beginning in 2010 and extending to 2012.

I'll wait for the full interview but considering Beck was laughing when he said it, I doubt he was being serious.

However, I agree with him 100% about McCain vs. Clinton. I'd have crossed party lines and voted for Clinton too if she had won the nomination.

Im a conservative and I tend to agree. But you have to listen to his reasoning to understand WHY he said that.

On social issues McCain is a closet liberal--and some dumb social programs might have been enacted under the radar.

But with Obama, he is so blatantly radical, we are better off--his agenda is more obvious, and therefore more people will resist him.

Makes perfect sense, in those terms.

I think everyone is obsessed with race and color and no one is looking into what really matters. MONEY! We are in debt as a whole and things don't look very promising in our future. I'm no psychic but I can tell you McCain would have had us covered by now. But that is coming from a moran, so don't take my word for it.

He was joking. Nobody could be worse for this country than 0bama. Carter is even coming out from under his rock because he knows now that he is no longer the worst president!

He said that on his radio show and also said the reason he believes that is because had McCain been elected their wouldn't be the uprising, their wouldn't be the outrage there is now. No tea parties.

Wouldn't it have been nice if the video lasted long enough for Beck to explain his statement?

    Perhaps so.

It took a Carter to get us a Reagan.

    We now have a Carter X 10
