  • Is there anyone ion the East Coast saying this today -?

"Man I sure wish Romney was in charge of this hurricane clean-up! We spend way too much on FEMA!"

  • Which women do you think Ann Romney keeps hearing from?

Ann Romney continually serves as the Female Front for Mitt, and seems to always preface a campaign point with the phrase, "I'm hearing from so many women that..."

Who are these women that she is speaking too? Why are they not speaking to Mitt? Why is Mitt not speaking to them?

When Ann says, " I think a lot of women may be voting, this cycle around, in a different way than they usually are: that is, thinking about the economy, thinking about their own jobs, thinking about their husbands' jobs, but also thinking about the future" does she think that women usually vote the way they watch sports? By who has the cutest butts or uniforms?

  • Is it time for us to cut back on government and help the American people?

MItt Romney said this on JUne 8 of this year:

He [President Obama] says we need more fireman, more policeman, more teachers, did he not get the message of Wisconsin? The American people did. It's time for us to cut back on government and help the American people"

    1) How do you simultaneously cut back on government AND help the American people? If you cut back on government isn't the idea to let the American people fend for themselves?

    2) Do we have too many police and fire fighters?

  • Should we start profiling White Christian men?

Before they commit any more acts of domestic terrorism? We send them all back to Europe before they can kill any more Americans!

  • Why are 30 Republican Senators in favor of rape?

Al Franken introduced a bill in the Senate that would forbid the US Government from engaging in business with companies that forbid employees from suing the company should they be raped, as was the case of a 19 year old woman working for Halliburton subsidary KBR in Iraq after she was gang-raped by her co-workers.

HOW DID 30 REPUBLICAN SENATORS VOTE AGAINST THIS BILL????????

And here are the Senators too by the way... even conservatives have to admit this is disgusting to vote against this bill.

    VOTE THEM OUT

    Alexander (R-TN) Barrasso (R-WY) Bond (R-MO) Brownback (R-KS) Bunning (R-KY) Burr (R-NC) Chambliss (R-GA) Coburn (R-OK) Cochran (R-MS) Corker (R-TN) Cornyn (R-TX) Crapo (R-ID) DeMint (R-SC) Ensign (R-NV) Enzi (R-WY) Graham (R-SC) Gregg (R-NH) Inhofe (R-OK) Isakson (R-GA) Johanns (R-NE) Kyl (R-AZ) McCain (R-AZ) McConnell (R-KY) Risch (R-ID) Roberts (R-KS) Sessions (R-AL) Shelby (R-AL) Thune (R-SD) Vitter (R-LA) Wicker (R-MS)

(nice to see the guy who ran for President on there too, huh?)

  • Is Baucus just a complete moron?

Why would he rather just pass a bill, than pass a bill that actually meant something?

    Rockefeller's bill was fiscally responsible.

And why are GOPers condemning government run programs, while praising Medicare? I mean, if they are really against government options, shouldn't they be leading the charge to eliminate Medicare?

  • Why do people keep saying Obama is forcing his policies on people?

He campaigned on Health care reform, and he was elected by a majority of the people.

Up until five weeks ago, the country was about divided on the issue, and since all the lies have begun from Conservative radio and Palin, the approval numbers have dropped, but those people who actually belive the lies, well, they don't count in real life, but they are counted in polls.

But seriously, Obama was elected to enact health care reform and to ditch Iraq... why they confusion?

  • Thoughts on the Concealed Weapons law that was defeated today?

A majority of the Senate voted in approval of the bill, but was 2 votes short of the 60 votes required.

Is there anyone who thinks that this would be a good idea?

Do you think it tramples on the issue of State's Rights?

Or do you think that states that regulate firearm possesion are in violation of the Constitution?

Personally, I live in Brooklyn, NY, and the thought of some tourist walking around with a gun in their jacket and then over reacting from a perceived threat and shooting someone scares the hell out of me.

But I'm curious what people from other parts of the country think about travelling with weapons?

Do people really actually travel with their guns?

Are people really that scared? I mean Brooklyn is a lot safer than it used to be, but people still get shot, and yet I don't feel the need to have a gun for safety. And yeah, I live in Bed-Stuy.

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090722/ap_on_go_co/us...

side note: The Senator who introduced this bill is quoted as saying Central Park will be a much safer place" if someone from South Dakota could carry a gun in the New York City park.... I guess he didn't get the memo that New York is the safest big city in America and Central Park has the lowest crime stats in the city.

  • Is any one voting for McCain's actual positions on issues?

Or is it just because Obama is such a demon?

All I hear from McCain and his supporters are attacks on Obama, and I have yet to hear much about McCain's actual position on issues.

If you are voting for McCain on the issues, please state which issue, and what McCain's stance and solutions are.

  • Can you point to me to the real America, please?

I'm confused, I live in Brooklyn, New York City, and I keep hearing from the McCain and Palin that I don't live in real America.

    That befuddles me.

I mean, considering the 8,000,000 people who live here, I would guess that 7,500,000 people are middle and working class folks.

    And even more so

Considering that this is one of the first cities established on this continent.

Considering that one of the biggest battles of the Revolutionary War were fought right here.

Considering that of all the Americans who have shed blood for this country, no one single place has given up more of her sons and daughters than New York City.

Considering that in our great melting pot, 1 in 4 people can trace their ancestry through New York City.

Considering that when terrorists flew those planes into those towers, it was in New York City.

And when those 3000 people perished, it was 3000 New Yorkers who perished, and the friends and family of us, here, in New York.

And when I open the paper, every other day I read about another young man or woman from New York who has died fighting in Iraq or Afghanistan.

So someone please tell me who the hell Sarah Palin and John McCain are talking about when they speak abotu real America, or real Americans? Because it doesn't get any more American than New York City, the greatest city on the face of the earth.

PLease tell Mrs. Palin to bring it back to her pseudo-Canadian territory, because us REAL AMERICANS don;t want to hear it.
