what one dana 40 or dana 60?
want to up grade i have just a 10 bolt up front now i just remove my 10 bolt from the back and replaced it with a 14 bolt i know that the dana 60 would make one hell of a combo but im not going to be doing any really crazy off roading.. i think the only reason to put in the 60 would be if it going to cost the same as the 40

It depends on the weight of your vehicle. If it is light, you don't need the extra cost of the 60.
I have a 3/4 ton GMC that I am thinking about putting a 60 in. The truck is front heavy, and gets beat on pretty hard off roading. I like to hill climb, which likes to break u-joints The 14 is good, a full floater 14 is better yet, some are semi-float, which is not quite as strong, but good enough for a street/ occasional off roader
