Are you OK with being kept in the dark?
Pelosi has led the Democrats to kill an amendment that would have required congress to allow 3 days for us to read the heath insurance reform bill before it was voted on. It also would have required that the Congressional Budget Office make public the actual costs. Is this OK with you? What do they have against us knowing what is in the bill and what it will cost? Weren't we promised transparency?

Simple: WE don't matter to Congress and that is the TRUTH.
With the seat replacement for that slug Ted Kennedy now filled, the Democrats have the majority to OVERRIDE any filibuster by the opposition........including those Dems who are as opposed as the Majority of America.
So why do you think they would care whether the people can read it or not ?
This is the very same block, who "defeated" the Bill to require ALL of Obamas existing and future Czar appointments, to be vetted and approved through Congress. But these treasonous Democrats slipped an Amendment onto a totally unrelated Bill, to get 6 million for Congressional operating expenses for September, while other Budgets ( Homeland Security, etc.,) are out of money because Congress "didn't have time" to get to the Government Budgets.

Actually, the amendment would have delayed the vote 2-3 weeks, because the CBO estimated it would take them that long to work out the costs.
The same people who are calling for this stall tactic seem to be the people who complain that Congress never gets anything done.
Having legislation easy to read and accessible to everyone is great, but waiting to vote on every bill for 2-3 weeks is excessive.

No, but the government has treated the people like mushrooms for YEARS.
(Keep in the dark and feed with lots of BS.)
The CURRENT one promised transparency, and see what they got! When they let out information and costs, the people got VERY upset; some for and some against.
SO, they went back to the "old" standard. (see above!)

Petty tyrants don't notice when the bigger bosses say no, They KNOW the way it works and Pelosi has been corrupted.
