WW2 fanfiction question?
I'm going to make a WW2 story on fanfiction as respect for all who fought and I was going to have it follow a certain division from WW2. I'm not sure which, division to pick for example the 29th infantry division is one of my favorites and so on, I'm just not sure which one's to pick and what campaign to start the story at....which one do you think I should use and what campaign to start at?

Well the 29th infantry division is apart of the National guard,contains units from Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina.The division is best known for being among the first wave of troops to the shore at Omaha Beach, suffering massive casualties in the process. go with that if i were you because you don't hear to much about national guard unit.
