Why are people predicting LSU to move up in the rankings?

Basically due to the fact that the #4,5 and 6 teams in the country lost. By that elimination they may move up even if they scrapped out a win against a subpar team.

That stand was reminiscent of the Chinese Bandits of old. And it says something when a good team plays poorly but still wins. MS State isn't a bad team, either, and they're learning a new system. Neither of State's QB's is exactly catching the world on fire, but if the kid from Meridian develops (now #3 on the depth chart), the Bulldogs could be a real force in a year or two. And they played well against LSU (at Scott), not so well against Auburn. You can't just look at scores.

Because Everyone else lost that was in front of LSU. They have no choice but to move up. And yes Auburn should be ranked

i think Auburn should be ranked. LSU barly won. i mean come on seriously... and Aubrun beat Mississippi state pretty good... so i really think that Auburn should move up and LUS should move down since Auburn is 4-0 and beat a good west virigina team.

Probably so, but you will get a say so on the field keep the fire burning that will help out LSU a lot. The #4 team in the country.

LSU is now officially the most overrated team in the nation. They should be no higher than #15 right now. I think they are being overrated to help protect Florida/Tebow in case LSU beats them.

I think VA Tech should be ranked higher. At least they have played Alabama tough, beat Miami and Nebraska. LSU will drop big time once they play real opponents.

LSU is pretty pathetic. Miss State has the equivalent talent of vandy and kentucky.
