Do you think a woman wrestler with no political experience but with a "shrewd business sense &?
an alarming willingness to climb into the ring herself and kick large men where it hurt" will make a good politican?
NEW YORK: As chief executive of the world's biggest wrestling promoter, Linda McMahon combined a shrewd business sense with an alarming willingness to climb into the ring herself and kick large men where it hurt. Her decision to quit the world of double arm locks for a run at the US Senate has not only startled millions of American wrestling fans; she is also threatening to unseat a key ally of President Barack Obama.
McMahon, 60, is the latest in a new line of successful, charismatic Republican women to bid for national office. Like Sarah Palin, the ex-governor of Alaska, she aims to turn a lack of political experience into a virtue. “I’m not a politician, I’ve been very fortunate to have a successful business career”, she said las week.
Several other Republicans are vying for the seat, but McMahon's high-profile role as the brain behind World Wrestling Entertainment has assured her of the most attention with headlines referring to a "no-holds barred" campaign in which she will "body-slam" her hapless opponent.
Although McMahon left most of the wrestling theatrics to her husband, Vince, the ringmaster of WWE promotions, she appeared in the ring on several occasions. The McMahons are credited with transforming professional wrestling into the soap opera that last year earned it over $500 million from pay-per-view TV, merchandising and other events.

thats something i was thinking about earlier. its not just a problem in areas where tea partiers are gonna win either. i feel like if we really do see LOTS of incumbents go, we might look back in the future and realize it was a case of not being careful about what we wished for. now, im all for shaking up political power structures, but you cant just toss everyone out because you're mad without considering what you might be losing, or what you might get in return. one of my major concerns is to think that a lot of the root problems (lobby laws, corporate spending in politics, party structure...) aren't being pursued actively by voters or the media. so, if that stays the same, i can't imagine why a new generation of politicians wouldnt succumb to the same temptations previous ones did. in fact, new individuals might even have lower defenses against it. we dont really know with a lot of these people.

According to the John's Gospel chapter four and Revelation Chapter 17, that type of woman would have living water and will be appointed by God to rule over the world. Whosoever against her will receive double punishment by God.

Possibly a successful one but not a good one. Politics has nothing to do with "shrewd business sense"; that's business. What experience of social problems has she got?

not really.. not to say she wouldn't challenge.. i'm sure she'd put together an entertaining campaign that some of the population would eat up..
