Hi Christians! Please answer my question!?
This is merely out of curiousity and I'm not trying to say you're wrong or right so please don't take this the wrong way.
I know Christians are monotheists and God is God and Jesus is the prophet. So Jesus is the son of God and Jesus is divine like God.
Some Christians tell me that Jesus is God. Is that true? If he is God then how is he the son of God? If he`s not God then are you not polytheistic because you believe that there is more than one grand divinity?
Tigerlily- I don`t consider father and son to be one at all!
Disney- I don`t need a lecture. I just don`t understand it and my friend who is Muslim wanted to know and I realised I didn`t get it either.
OH and Disney what does it matter what I believe in? I am an atheist but I don`t think we got here from a bang either. But what the hell do I know? For I know nothing!

John 10:30: The Father and I are one.
They are three parts of one.
God in spirit is the Holy Spirit. He inhabits, prophesies through people, sparks religious fervor, makes people speak in tongue, births Love, and allows us to feel the Love and glory of God. Kind of the hand of God.
God in flesh is the Son. He is God incarnate as a physical being for us to bear witness to his glory, made of flesh he was thus given to the world, and is for us to see, he is here teach us his word, and die as God, a perfect sinless beings so his sacrifice is repentence for our sins.
God as God is The Father. Creator of the Universe. Creates balance. Loves. Judges. Courier of man's deeds and caster of righteous judgment.

You Question is really not a question.....its simply another Red Herring of the same question that appears on R&S every 15 minutes or less..........
You already know the position of the triune nature of God and every other argument here .
If you are still laughing at all the efforts to explain it to you....its your choice.
Laughing all the way will not and does not change the day you leave earths bodily form and stand in front of the Creator of Heaven and earth. Hopefully you will acknowledge Him & His love for you before then..........if not.........it is totally your choice
You answer lies in the Nature of God..........which you refuse to acknowledge along with all other darkened scientific minds who keep the question alive.
.How could I take your Q the wrong way? I dont. You posted both sides of the argument, which means you understand more than you play us off to be.
You have read the truth........in many other posts. The biblical writers did not need to coin or use the word "trinity".....they already understood the triune nature of God by how they wrote and spoke of God.
How about you figure out if you even believe in God before you ask any more on this? Either we came from a bang, a woosh, or a Creator..............which is it for you ?
edit: ok, point taken. Still, God really is the reason we exist, and He took the time to show up, and make real all the prophets writings. Currently, earths inhabitants are pushing the limits of continued existence, ergo.....do try to ask God in prayer to show you His truths.

Jesus is God in a mystical way... He was one with God because He was obedient to His Father and humble before Him. We can be like this too. It isn't polytheism, it's relationship to God for each of us... I think that's all I should say right now. But I will close by saying that it's a mystery that the Holy Spirit will have to explain to you.
Pray about it... you'll figure it out.

When a human father has a son, they
are two different individuals
yet they are still one. God and Jesus are
the same concept.
I learned this explanation of the trinity
in my Sunday School class. Talk this
over with the teacher.

It is the Christian faith that the nature of God is a trinity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They together are One. To say that Jesus is God is appropriate.

Well here is a metaphor, water can have three forms. Liquid, ice and vapor or steam (whichever.) but they are still the same thing. But nothing can quite explain our supernatural God. We can't explain the Creator of the universe, when we can;t even come to an agreement on the reason for the universe being made or how humans came to live on the earth.

Grand divinitys decendant. For those who wish to reach god can do so only through Jesus Christ. Therefore God is God and Jesus is our path.

yes jesus is God
son of god means he came from God
son means he is of the same blood line of a father.
on earth a son has the same blood line as his father.
jesus being the son does not mean he was a creation of God but that he came down from heaven and was part of God.
there are 3 representations of God as one.
one in thought and action.
the father and son and the holy spirit are all divine, and all are omnipresence, and all are all knowing

Your grandfather is a grandpa to you, a father to your father, and a son to his own father. This is one way of putting it to better understand.
