If you are a democrat, do you plan on donating to the democratic party anymore?
If you're a republican or libertarian I don't care what your opinion is.
After the vote today in the Baucus committee, I, for one, am not donating a dime to the democratic party because I don't want my money going to Bush Dog Democrats.
I will donate to individual candidates but not insurance company hacks.
I said I didn't care what Republican opinions are and I meant it. My thumbs down is a recognition of your complete failure to read the question. I don't comment on Republican questions who say "Hey fellow conservatives", but apparently you can't read.
Independents with conservative leanings are one thing, you just can't read. And YOU are the one who believes in lies.

I hear you loud and clearly and now is the time to vote only on candidates, not partly lines:
Already this morning Senator Jay Rockefeller spent over 40 minutes on a passionate plea for a public option. That's 40 minutes of talking.....to counter hundreds of hours of shouting at the town halls in August. But still the Republicans won't pipe down. Both Orrin Hatch and Chuck Grassley attacked a public option as a way of eventually getting a single-payer system. Funny, Republicans can never attack a public option for what it is....only for what they say it will become. Not to be outdone, around 1pm today Senator John Ensign also spoke out against a public option. Funny, John Ensign seems to have no problem with options when it comes to whom he's sleeping with.
Today the Committee is scheduled to consider two versions of the public option. http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2009/09/todays-... We need a public option to keep insurance companies honest. OK, insurance companies will never be honest. But we need a public option to force them to at least act honest. Be aware that none of the public option amendments being offered to the Finance Committee are expected to win. They're being introduced as a first step to getting them to the floor of the whole Senate. Think of this move as preventative care.
In the meantime, we need to apply all the pressure we can to fence-sitting Democrats. I would call them DINO's, or Democrats In Name Only, but they're really DIBWHI's, or Democrats In Bed With Health Insurers. Fortunately, the effort to get them onto the proper side of the fence has begun. Supporters of a public option are targeting Max Baucus with a new ad http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/09/28/baucus-ba... featuring a young man from Montana who couldn't get insurance and is trying to pay for open heart surgery with bake sales put on by his friends. It also criticizes Baucus for taking over $3.9 million from health and insurance interests. The man in the commercial has some $100,000 in medical bills. Maybe Max Baucus should just use some of the insurance companies' largess to pay for this guy's heart surgery. After all, the only reason the insurance companies have $3.9 million to give to Max Baucus is that they refuse to give any coverage to people like the man in the ad. Or can we at least stop trying to pay medical bills with bake sales? We'll find out soon.

WOW..doesn't this say a lot? They complain about how selfish republicans are and they won't even donate to their own party?
They yell and scream about how great they are and they don't contribute or spend THEIR OWN MONEY? I bet if the government gave them money they wouldn't share that either....and they probably take all the money the government has to offer without a thanks let alone gratitude and thanks to the REPUBLICANS who support them.
Goes to show....dems don't have faith in the economy or themselves...they are all talk!
And you obviously have not heard about todays vote dems. THE DEMS VOTED AGAINST PUBLIC CARE OPTION and the bill is not going to pass as it is either! You are at only 49 votes today FOR it. AND you think that is CLOSE? You need 60!
You are NOT close to a compromise...because you are not compromising and the blue dogs are GREAT for having common sense and actually caring about AMERICANS!
wanna try to make that statement again democrat?
I am so sick of hearing how we rank last in health care. It is a TOTAL LIE..and you have to see how they do this poll..so much to take into consideration and it is not true!
You all use this crap as something to stand on...and it is a total LIE! PEOPLE come here...even last night CANADA was complaining about where they would go if AMERICA changed. THEY ARE SCREWED and so will we be. Didn't you care to listen to Canada last night???/ You should have!
Love the thumbs down...shows the dems that can't listen to the truth and still believe in lies.! I am proud of those thumbs down....At least I KNOW what I am talking about. Rude awakening because the dems can't listen to themselves let alone the majority of AMERICA!

I never did donate to the party, just individual candidates. Keep your eyes on the races nation wide and you will know where to put your money. I think it is good for candidates to get small out of state donations from individuals, it tells them they should be working for the good of the country not special interests.

I will never vote for another Republican. Insurance companies still control both parties. We rank dead last amongst the 16 developed countries in terms of health care.

Yes - I will contribute to the democratic fund -
No matter how bad you think the democrats are, there is no possible way they can be as unAmerican as the lying republicans.
Unfortunately the reality of politics is Compromise... you might want it to be something else, but it isn't. It's Compromise.
Been lots of Compromise lately - but we're closer to having healthcare reform than we were.

I consider myself socially liberal and fiscally conservative, and will donate and vote according to those candidates that fall in line with my expectations.

Why donate to any of them, they say one thing and all ways do another, tell you what you want to hear and then screw you. Should be prostitution, you pay and then get ***'ed.

Anyone that donates their money to a polical party is a GD FOOL!
