i have the iPod Nano 2nd Genoration, and its like froze. how do i unfreeze it? lmao, i tried plugging it in, didnt work.
TRIED BOTH OF THOSE; DIDNT WORK!

You push and hold the Menu and center button (the button in the middle of the scroll wheel) AT THE SAME TIME until the screen goes blank (which takes about 5 seconds) and the Apple logo appears. Don't worry. Nothing will be erased.

have you tried pressing the menu and center button till the apple logo appears
or some older ipod tend to make you toggle the hold switch a couple times for them to respond
if that doesn't work try putting it to disk mode by holding the menu and center button till it powers down and IMMEDIATELY press the center and play button till you get a check then connect it to your computer and hit restore in itunes.
