Drink a little bit of water before you begin singing.
Now do some breathing excercises, like take a deep breath, hold for 5 seconds and then exhale, or do airplane noises with you lips. You can also sing up and down the scale with various syllables, like "Nee", and "Ah". Basically, any syllable you can think of will work.
Drink a little bit more of water.
Pick the song you want to sing.
Sing from your stomach, not your throat. Singing doesn't come from your throat. Look down at your thumbnail. That's the size of your vocal cords. If you sing from your throat, you'll put unneccesary stress on them, and your voice will tire out easily.
Push your stomach out when you are singing. This is called support. It may be difficult, but once you get used to it you will be able to master it. Having good support is essential for good singing.
Hope that helped. :)

If your voice tends to crack while hitting those high notes, you're most likely hitting your passaggio area, which is basically the transition in your voice from chest voice to head voice.
Cracking mostly indicates that you have weak breath support, and that you need to push more from your diaphragm rather than through your throat. By practicing each day, and learning how to smoothly glide up the scale by taking breaths from your diaphragm, it will help you in getting rid of the cracking.
Also, looking at yourself in the mirror and watching yourself do simple singing exercises and warmups is also another vital key to helping you sing much better. If you spot your shoulders moving up and down when you breathe between lines, it means that you're not doing it the right way.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

A trainer will certainly aid you with that. I might endorse warding off Vocal Coachers although as plenty of vocal coaches have a tendency to break voices (Can you feel a few bitterness?). Like others have mentioned, train certainly is the one approach. And making a song always. Singing within the bathe is cliche however it is rather well for warming up considering the fact that of the steam. Whenever I believe as although my making a song is fitting tough and too strained, dozing, ingesting a ton of water, and resting my voice is helping. Pop artists are not wherein the truly skillability is, for probably the most side. Pop artists are in most cases simply the singers with probably the most connections within the industry and who've manufacturers who make the artists sound well. Not many voice lecturers will aid you sound like them. You commonly need to take a look at that your self.

Sing using your head, not your throat. Like try not to make a screaming sound when you start to sing higher. If you sing and it hurts your throat, then you are singing using your throat.

um maybe you should gradually sing higher and higher pitches over time?
Just practice daily.Remember this...
Practice DOES not make perfect.....Perfect practice makes perfect
