Can cats have a sense of humor?

Of course they can they show when they are happy and i can give you an example of the humour they can show,

when my brother in law fell down stairs my cat looked pleased and i am sure i saw her smile her eyes were glowing with fun,

she was meowing and purring as he fell she did find it amusing and it was her toys that he tripped on, the strings from her toy tangled around his feet and as the toy had a bell on he jingled and jangled as he fell!

well he doesn't like cats and my cat doesn't like him either, but she did enjoy seeing him tumble!

she purred all night as if rerunning the image in her little mind!

My cat Sammy knocks on the door with his collar magnet, then runs away when I open it for him. He will do this three or four times in a row, I swear he's loving every minute of this game and his face breaks into a grin every time as he bounds away like Pepe le Phew...

I believe they do understand fun and play, so therefore to provoke a game like this they must have an idea of humour.
