How to uninstall Total Security?

I use a Norton Virus 360 and I have been very happy with this new version. However, I turned it off to do some work and soon after that, I started getting emergency messages that I had all these virus. I turned on my Norton to find out that I do not have any of these problems but noticed that some pop ups happened. Now I want to get rid of this security and from my control panel and it won't allow me to remove or change.

Your help appreciated and thank you in advance

To make these pop ups disappear, you should scan your computer with some kind of security application, like Spyware Doctor. Google pack provides the free its version:

I've seen this program multiple times and it's NOT real. Your antivirus software should've blocked it. However, Nortan never blocks it like better antivirus programs. It claims you have tons of viruses on your computer and won't allow you to close it. I'm assuming that you're OS is either WinXP or WinVista. I've found this little nasty critter on my friends’ computers and etc... Also, it opened up to attack my computer, but my antivirus software caught it before it could do anything.

(This is an assumed fix since I cannot see your computer and have limited information.)

    “What do I do?”

1.Press Ctrl, Alt, & Del (Delete) on your keyboard. “Windows Task Manager”

...or paste Taskmgr.exe in Run… located in your start menu.

    2.Select the “Processes” tab.

3.Find the name of the program attacking your computer. It may or may not be displayed in the “Applications” tab. Don’t close it from the “Applications” tab.

4.Right click the name of the program in the “Processes” tab and select “End Process Tree”.

ATTENTION: This doesn’t remove it, but terminate its operation until you reboot (restart) your computer.

5.Now run a “Full System Scan” on your computer until it’s finished. Continue if it didn’t find and remove the program.

    6.Download Microsoft® Windows® Malicious Software Removal Tool http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?Fa...

7.Scan your computer after downloading it.

8.Please answer the questions below before continuing.

    Requested Specifics

--What’s the name of this program attacking your computer?

--What’s [are] your computer operating system/systems?

    Note: Hardware specifications aren’t needed.

--What antivirus program[s] do you have on your computer? Name[s] Please.

Note: You should only have one antivirus program. It’ll leave holes in your security if you have more than one. Also, make sure that one antivirus program settings are correct.

--What have you done since you’ve discovered this issue?

--Did you see how it attacked your computer? If yes, then how?

    Etc…
