I need help. How do I navigate on Yahoo Answers. I need to know how to do some things.?
Somehow, when I got into Yahoo Answers, I tried to find how to do things & cannot find any "primer" anywhere.
1) If I ask a question, how can I find it again to see what answers came up and especially so I can pick a best answer?
2) Likewise, if I answer a question, is there a way to follow up and see what other answers have come up?
3) How do I go about changing my identification name (or can I) and how does one select an avatar?
Sorry to put this in R&S, but it seems to be the only site to get any answers, I've tried Yahoo Products and get nothing. Is there a site where I can get these answers?

Rachel - thanks but the e-mails Ive gotten don't have the "best answer" bar on them, so still don't know how to do that. Also, Im computer illiterate, don't know how to "bookmark" or retrieve it. Sorry

1. you can see your Q & A's on your profle page. Just click on your avatar and it will take you to your profile. From there click on "my questions" to view your Q and the answers. After 4 hours you may select a best answer. Click on the "best answer" tab under the answer that you want to pick.
2. On your profile page click on "my answers" and you can view the questions that you answered and see the other answers also.
3. On your profile page click on "edit my info" and you can change your name or avatar picture. You can use one of the cartoon avatars that are available or you can upload your own picture onto your profile (edit my profile image) and select "use my profile image" as your avatar picture.

1.) Check the section you asked it in, search through the pages and find your question. If you asked the question a long time ago it probably will be a couple pages back. If you asked it recently it could very well be on page 1 or 2. You can also click on "my profile" in the upper right and click the questions tab on your profile and see all your questions there without searching through pages. I highly recommend doing it this way. To pick a best answer just look at your question. If you asked the question 4 hours ago then under each answer will have an option under it to click and choose that answer as the best answer.
2.) Just go to the question using the methods I described in the 1st answer and look at all the answers.
3.) If you change your ID name you get a new profile. In other words the only way to get another name is to make a new profile. To set an avatar I think you just click on your current pic and then you go to a page which describes that whole process but I'm not completely sure.

I am getting the proper text box but the area I ask about is directed to some reduntant topic instead of what i'm searching for. It shouldn't matter if my question is the only one of it's type, i should be able to post the right question and get a reply.
