LeGarrette Blount Might Be Reinstated?

How do you feel about Blount being reinstated? What punishment would you have given him? My opinion: this is inexcusable behavior. If he had only punched the other player, that would be bad enough but I'd probably would of suspended him half the season. But trying to punch FANS? That goes above & beyond stupidity and I wouldn't tolerate it as a coach. He's a senior and should of known better.

I think Blount should be reinstated provided he hasn't acted up since the incident. He needs to be a boy scout, basically: keep up with classes (as well as most football players do), no incidents whatsoever, should probably lay off the booze (as well as most football players do, lol).

To put this in perspective, the players in the Miami-FIU brawl got less punishment and the NCAA didn't step in and mandate more punishment. So at the very least, I think Blount should come back against USC. That would be 6 missed games and still 4 games to show draft scouts what he has to offer.

I really hope that incident doesn't completely ruin Blount's chances at a pro career. Young people deserve a chance to correct their mistakes, bottom line.

I wouldn't say I'd do the same thing he did, but I understand. The people saying he shouldn't be reinstated and his actions were inexcusable I don't think have ever played the sport. Tempers flare up out there, but you do not taunt someone after a loss. Im not saying the guy deserved the punch but you sure provoked it. If this wouldn't have been caught on camera and in the media it wouldn't have been a big deal. I punch a guy during a game once cause he punched him, big deal, nothing happened. The media and ignorant people hyping things up.

PS The color of his skin didn't help his cause either, if Colt Mccoy would have done that before blount he would have gotton a slap on the wrist.

Blount would desire to obtain a minimum of a three-interest suspension and it will be interesting if criminal costs are assessed. regrettably, he probably blew any probabilities of being drafted by the NFL in view that he grew to become right into a marginal prospect. as some distance by using fact the Boise participant he gets a loose bypass on account that stuff takes place each and every of the time and the trick is to no longer blow your cool.

I thought maybe a 3 game suspension would have been good.

I would just say a 1 game suspension, because he was provoked by another player, which is one thing. However, when you go after a fan because they're provoking you, that's different. You never make any sort of intent to attack a fan. You have to be more professional than that.

I thought that an entire season was out of line, given how much he was provoked. Half of a season is still one of the longest suspensions ever.

most of the coach's thought he would be kicked out for 1 or 2 games and chip kelly might let him back in november.
