You are a bit naive. Liberals don't "pound" Palin for having a daughter who had a child out of wedlock. Most liberals don't see this as shameful, because they don't live in the 19th century, but in this century. They simply point out how this contradicts Palin's family values image.

Republicans claim to be the 'family values' party, pass legislation regarding the 'sanctity of marriage', encourage abstinence only sex education, and they're the first to jump on democrats for infidelity.

So when right-wing types who preach that stuff have affairs, or children who get pregnant as teens, there's a huge amount of hypocrisy.

Liberals are happy to point out that hypocrisy, they aren't particularly judgmental of the action.

We always knew Billy Boy was sleazy and he never went out there claiming to be morally superior. He lied when he got caught, and that was the wrong thing to do. But find any quotes of him saying "You should not have affairs" or "I don't support anything but the fidelity of marriage" None of his policy positions came back to bite him...

Palin however had a daughter who got pregnant as an unwed teen while her mom said

So she opposed anything but abstinence only education (though she did not implement it as she quit halfway through her term) and her daughter ends up as an unwed teen mother.

We see the irony in that.

The only reason Palin took any abuse about her daughter, is because Palin is a proponent of abstinence-only sex education. Palin was pregnant when she got married and her daughter had a baby without being married. She knows it's stupid to pretend that kids don't have sex. She lied about the kids planning on getting married after the election. I don't care about it all, but Palin shouldn't be spouting off about morality or family values. I don't care about Clinton's bl0wj0bs either.

The actions of a minor child of a vehement "abstinence only" parent shows the failure of her mother's "sex education" stance.

Sex between two consenting adults, no one's business. Do you really think that was the only occasion of sex in the oval office?

Yes, liberals believe that the actions between two consenting adults are not anyone's business. It is about living in a free country my friend.

But when a politician of Palin's ilk wants to legislate her failed parenting policies on the rest of us, we object and use her own example of failure to demonstrate why we don't want her policies, you betcha.

both major Parties are only interested in one thing: power.

therefore they will use anything they can get their paws on so put the other Party down in order to try to win.

the good news is both major parties will virtually be dead in 7 years!

She's the one coming across like her $hit don't stink with all her "christian values." How about all the repukacons sexploits - does Larry Craig ring any bells? Gay sex in an airport $hithouse!
