What took place during the 3 days and nights Jesus was in the heart of the earth?

He was in Paradise. He told the thief on the cross, "Today you will be with Me in Paradise."

And He was preaching to the souls in Hades or some spirit realm, the ones that didn't have an opportunity to know the truth. And He took the keys to Death and Hell.

If you are asking what took place with Jesus during that time, the plain answer is, he was dead. And dead means without consciousness, not thinking and not doing -- DEAD! And that's all that Jesus was and did during those three days and nights.

He did NOT visit the dead or suffering in the fictitious hell and preach the Gospel; that is a misunderstanding of Scriptures by those who understand little if anything of God's Word.

Didn't Christ make it clear that when someone is dead, that they sleep, and know nothing at all, until woke up (resurrected).
