I have a problem with my HP. Can you help?

After a few weeks of some weird behavior, when I went to boot my HP dv6000 the pixels were completely over sized. However I could not change this from the settings so I restarted. From that moment on I have been unable to get the screen to turn back on (leaves this weird vertical line pattern and slowly gets darker the longer I leave it on). So I hooked it up to a desktop screen so that I could at least pull my work off and it would not let me get back to windows in normal mode. I can however get to safe mode (from the desktop screen at least)... any suggestions?

can you get safe mode fully operational if so you can actually do a few things you can save your work to a flash drive do a system restore and see if that might fix the problem or see if there is something wrong with your graphics card hope this helped
