Writting person of view question?

I'm writing a story about a soldier during WW2 it does forces around him mostly, but it will be about the others soldiers around him and fighting him. I'm just wondering which person of view would be the best for a WW2 story like this.

Okay. Not to be a jerk, but it was really hard to understand what your question was. I think you mean "I'm writing a story about a soldier during WWII. It focuses on him mostly ... (and so on)." If that is what you meant, then here is a response:

I really think you should go with first-person. It's always the most engaging 'person.' It draws the reader in and makes them feel they are really living what's happening. You can also tell a lot about the other characters through the eyes of the main character too. I find first-person stories to be more emotionally complex and interesting most of the time.
