For fans of the Jim Butcher series "The Dresden Files," what do you think will happen?
in next year's upcoming novel, "Changes" considering that the opening line is: I answered the phone, and Susan Rodriguez said, "They've taken our daughter." ?
(The opening line was found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Dresden#Changes )
Michael: That's true...as far as it goes but I think it's more likely to mean Harry's the father because the only other man Susan was involved with was her mentor in the Fellowship of Saint Giles and the synopsis of the book where she came back from South America with her mentor DID NOT mention that she was having sex with him... .
redunicorn: I read that too but I also read that with the Red Court vampires, such as Bianca who tried to turn Susan, they don't become full vampires until *AFTER* they drink someone's blood. Unless the new novel tells us otherwise, we have to function by assuming that Susan is STILL only *HALF* vampire... and yes they can breed (or at least White Court vampires, like Harry's half brother, Thomas Raith, can)..

"our daughter" used in that way may or may not refer to Harry having a daughter with Susan. She may be using that in terms of herself and another man. It does make a nice tease though.

I am glad they are bringing Susan back. But Susan was a vampire, and I didn't think they could get pregnant.
