Power Outage, Now Computer Won't Boot.?
There was a wind-related brown out, then full outage last night. Today I get a STOP 0x000000F4 (0x00000003...) blue screen page. I can't even get into safe mode. It's Vista BTW...
So what do I do? Is my computer gone for good?
I'm on my parent's laptop right now, BTW.
the rest of the code is 0x8785E020, 0x8785E16C, 0x82884400

If you have not fried anything and have the recovery disk, then you can reinstall the OS and other software, then if you get through that,go to windows update to get the latest critical updates, also get a surge protector.Good Luck

Usually when it's not possible to boot in safe mode it's an issue with the operating System.
I would suggest reinstalling Windows. If that's not possible then the hard drive could be dead.
Your stop code is missing the end part which would of been more helpful to diagnose,Basically STOP 0x~F4 means "One of the many processes or threads crucial to system operation has unexpectedly exited or been terminated."

This stop error is usually from RAM problems. Try removing and replacing. May have to pull CMOS battery for 45 seconds as well. o this as last resort.

I say give it a good 24-hour break. If that doesn't work, take it to a repair shop...won't cost too much.
Also, don't listen to the other mean answers...THEY are the idiots. =)
