Obama Wins Nobel Peace Prize: Was this a Political Statement or...?

I'm afraid this award will only re-enforce Obama's beliefs that the US will talk with Iran and use the carrot to make them cooperate...instead of applying a big stick and whack them inbto complying with the Nuclear Non-Proliferation treaty they signed.

Israel will have to "go it alone" and to do so very soon too!

I feel like upchucking, Bill! He gives great speeches overseas at the expense of our country and he has weakened our economy. He has no concept about what the American people. He is more concerned about shoving health care reform down our throats rather than repairing the economy. He is a joke of a president and I feel confident that even if Mickey Mouse runs against him, he will lose a second term.

It is a political statement. People are implying by giving him this prize that his way, and their way is the future and it will happen. That isn't really a good thing.

it's just a ploy to try to win back his approval rating. The only prize I see him winning is for spending our tax dollars at a super sonic rate!! and all for NOTHING.
