Has the Nobel Peace Price committee now confirmed that it is a worthless award?

The fact that the NPP is a useless, politically-motivated award was confirmed back when Yassir Arafat received it. The man was a confirmed terrorist who advocated the destruction of Israel and was responsible for the deaths of thousands. This was a "peaceful" man?

It's their award and they can give it to whoever they want. I don't see why people are so worked up over this. It just makes the people upset by this look spiteful when all they have to do is just ignore that the reward was given to a guy that they don't like.... afterall, that's what this (not liking the guy) is all about. Get smarter... this isn't a battle you can win. He already was chosen by the Nobel committee. Game over.

Let's now talk about real politics.

You would say no to Arrafat and Castro, but now look at it the other way around...We were waving flags when Bush bombed Iraq for no reason..around the world we were seen as worse than either of those two...but u couldnt tell americans that at that time...Objective thinking makes u ask questions...

Martin Luther king won for opposition to the vietnam war and his work for equal rights. But as i have said to your ilk all morning you people will denigrate any thing done by Pres. Obama any award and work and will fight to stop any action he may try to accomplish spit upon his efforts and if he said the sun will rise in the east you would say he's lying and trying to act like god. simply because he's Pres. Obama, and you hate him. so it doesn't matter if he wins an award or not you'll hate him for it anyway, because that is a lot of hate to carry around but it looks right on you and yours, you have carried it around so long you don't even notice the extra weight.

It's all a matter of what someones view of improving the world would be and how to carry it out. Their seems to be only one accepted view though... a very unsavory one at that.
