Tattoo to mark running milestone. Any ideas?

I am running my very first marathon in two weeks. I would like to get a tattoo to commemorate the accomplishment.

This is my first tattoo, so I want it to be unique and sort of abstract. I also want to incorporate a Bible verse (2 Timothy 4:7) in the design, but I have somewhat of a hesitancy to get numbers inked on me.

Does anyone have any design ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Oh, I already know where I want it: I want it toward the front of my right hip and I would like it to be 3-4".

Update:

I'm in NW Ohio.

Just have it as a quote but with a font of your choice.

i love your idea! i have a 'let it be' tattoo as well -- it's on my shoulder blade and it's a picture of the earth with the words 'biodh se mar ata se' ('let it be' in irish gaelic) going around it. i have ocd tendencies as well which is partially why i wanted this quote, along with many other reasons. the fact that this quote is now permanently on my body actually has helped me in life to just let things be. anyway, i think it's a great idea and it has meaning, so i'd say go for it! :)

where are you located? sometimes if you have a really artistic and talented/experienced tattoo artist, you can describe to them the idea you have even if it isnt completely solid yet, and they'll sketch out some designs and show you some options and you can see if any of them fit your mental picture of your tattoo. maybe go in a few days early and see if they can help you out.
