Morris to replace Folau?

The Australian selectors obviously think he has what they are looking for - a good finisher. They're not looking for wingers that can bust the line but players that can safely finish off a good backline movement - and he can surely do that !!

Lol Old news mate- everyone has already talked about it. And remember he has only come into the 24 man squad- not the actual team that will be taking the field. Ive voiced my opinion on why Morris most definitely should not player for Australia- he is not our best of the best and the tries he scored is misleading, they were never solo efforts, on most occasions he just had to run and fall over the line. He cannot bust tackles, he cannot defend big men, he cant offload and never takes hit ups to help out his forwards and I cant think of one time where he has competed for a high ball. I love him in the premiership season and thats where he is at his best with his Dragon teammates, but playing for such an honorable Australian team which has an incredible reputation to live up to, and in such an important competition, I dont know about anyone else but there is no way I'd be comfortable with Brett on the wing- he is just too small and inexperienced.

He might get picked, play outstanding and make me look like an idiot, but I honestly do not see that happening and right now I'd be extremely disappointed if he gets selected when there are at least 5 other options I'd take before putting B.Morris on the wing.

It's a shame Folau is out, I was looking forward to him sticking it to the critics who say he's had a dud year. Morris is a worthy replacement though, I guess.

I'd have Brett Morris over him anyway. Hopefully both will be in the 17 on the same side of the field tearing strips in the opposition's defense,

If he plays (I think Jennings is more likely now with Folau out) I'm ot sure how either of them will go playing on the right side when they left everywhere else and whoever gets the spot and Hodges will have to work hard to develop their communication given that it's a new pairing.

I think it's good, I reckon Folau is overrated anyway.

Hopefully Morris does a good job, he will anyway, with the class he has around him.

Meh. I don't rate Folau anyway. Brett Morris is a player of the future. He'll go well. But why is he playing? I think Josh is better....Josh has played Origin anyway.

Mate, it's not really news. We've known a few days that Brett Morris has been called in as a replacement.

I hope both the Morris boys get in the 17, maybe they can play some tricks on the opposition and score us a win.
