Do you think the weather is affecting people badly?
This last week i know of at least 3 people who have thrown themselves in front of trains. It makes me so sad to know that there are people out there who have lost all faith in life and love. How sad they must have been to do something like that. I also feel sad for the train-drivers who has to go through the horror of what they see and they must feel terrible. Then i also feel sorry for the poor guys who have to clean the trains afterwards. Did you know that when someone actually hit the train it causes damages to the train as well. I never knew that. Sad subject i know but it is worrying me.

I personally think it's far more than 'just' the weather that has people feeling desperate enough to commit suicide these days. There's no doubt that I feel better on a bright sunny day, but that's only part of the 'human condition'. So many other factors must come into play to make people feel they have nothing else left.
And yes I too feel for the drivers - and for anybody who hits somebody in that way, or has to clean up the mess afterwards.
But even more, I feel so sad for the loved ones left behind, who have to deal with the 'why didn't I see this coming', 'could I have done more' etc.etc.
