LOGIC: the study of what is logical.

Nature itself is logical, and the first logic that man observed was not the formal logic of his own mind; it was logic in the "cause and effect" situations he saw in nature.

For example, rain brings fruition to grasses and trees. That is logical.

Since logic exists FIRST in nature, without it the world would not exist because nothing would be necessarily effected by any given cause. The Big Bang, for example, might have acted differently and quit expanding after only a few miles. But given what we know about the power contained within the singularity that blew up, it would not be logical to quit after a few miles.

Obviously it is logical for it to continue expanding after billions of years.

Obviously it is logical that ardepithicus was a primate.

Obviously it is logical that the sun rises and sets, and obviously none of these things has anything to do with how life observes them. They act logically whether a knowing subject is concious of them or not.

Logic can get you from A to Z, Zero to Infinitude, and (if you insult enough people's intelligence) it can reveal the truth to the question of whether or not there is an afterlife and what it is like. Logic can unlock your imagination if you ignore it long enough or if you study it long enough. However, without logic, imagination cannot exist. Without logic, we have no True North, no Absolute Zero, and no Cause & Effect. We would be I, I would be you, and you would, inevitably, be a couch. Why? Because without logic, we have nothing that can make sense and we wouldn't even know what making sense meant! Of course, without logic, making sense probably wouldn't mean anything- then again, it might mean everything! Who know? Throw logic out the window and see what happens.

If there was an world without logic, there wouldn't be society, laws, civil order, and government we'd all be just still cave men.

no one could identify whether a thing is right or wrong... No conclusion to something could be done.
