I am religious and go to a college run by my church. Last week I was eating by myself and some person I didn't know sat down next to me. I chatted with him for a while and the subject of majors came up. He said he was taking religion, the conversation went on and he started telling me about his beliefs. He was joined by one of his friends and they were discussing beliefs. They have a much more conservative viewpoint than me and they were very pointed in their beliefs. The subject of worship services came up and they criticized the service I go to because of the music. Apparently if music makes you move up and down it is bad but if it makes you sway back and forth it is good. I was not in the mood to have a religious debate and I could tell my opinion would not be appreciated so I said very little. I don't mind people with different beliefs than me but people like that make me uncomfortable.

I have met a few like that I just nod my head and say good for you.

Our local channel is owned by a Catholic and every Sunday he broadcast his churches sermon.
