here is the link to an ovulation preditor that i used:

before went on the pill, i used to have the ewcm that everyone talks about but when i went on and came off the pill, i didn't notice any ewcm the last two months, so i didn't know when to pinpoint my ovulation. most women with a 28 day cycle will ovulate around day 14 (14 days after the 1st day of your last menstrual cycle). it's good to have sex around day 10-16 or either every other day of the month. good luck and **baby dust** to you!!!

I completely agree with Danielle, it's important that you get intune with your body. I've read so many books and done so much research I could probably be a dr! LOL Some sure signs that you're ovulating is egg-white-like cervical mucus, rise in body temp, and many women feel a twinge on the right or left side. I also do the ovulation predictor kits as a back up...just in case I miss a sign. My cycles were always 28 days totally regular until I started trying to conceive. Now I'm kind of all over the place. Probably partly stress.
Best wishes to you!!

hey sheetal,
here is what I would recommend...
if you have an exact 28 or 29 day cycle, then back up 14 days from the last day and that is when you ovulated.
but since you have irregular periods sometimes for example last month, when it was 12 days late, in such circumstances it is difficult to say when exactly you ovulated.
So, the best thing is to NOT TIME your intercourse (BD)
Do BD on every given opportunity and almost every alternate day once your period stops...
This gives yourself maximum chances of conceiving and just take off the stress of when you exactly conceived..
Sperms remain in our body after BD for a few days, so in case you conceive on the day you did not BD, you might still get pregnant as there will be sperms waiting for the gg to be released.
So the secret here is to increase the frequency...
myself TTC#1 and am doind exactly what I have asked you to do...Let see... hoping for a healthy baby boy:)
Lots of baby dust to you!

typically 10-16 days after the 1st day of blood, you really should get in tune w/ your cycles and fertility by charting your cervical mucas...the most fertile time to get pregnant, an abundance of eggwhite wetness around 10-16 days after you period begins. everyone is different but if your blessed w/ regular cycles it helps charting, also look up Basal Body Temps online ...very helpful to get in tune w/ your fertile phases. I have no luck w/ Ovulation predictor kits but other people only rely on these. Digital pricey ones work the best!
