Does the Air Force have AGR positions?
Are there AGR positions in the AF? I'm AGR in the Army but if I was to join the AF or AF reserve/national guard would these active positions be difficult to get into? I've been in the army for almost 6yrs now as a wheeled vehicle mechanic, but I'm just looking for a change of pace. Something more challenging. I've always had an interest in working on helicopters, maybe even becoming a flight engineer.

Yes, they do, but they're very sought after and therefore very hard to get. The best way to try to get one of these would be to transfer to the Air National Guard.
