What type of caulk should be used to seal indoor window frame and trim, latex or silicone?

How well do they hold up on a window that is directly in the shower? Will I need to use an adhesive?

My apartment has its own boiler and sometimes the thermostat will be at a low setting and shows "heat off" yet the boiler will continue to run. For instance, I'll set the temp to 60° in the daytime, but when I get home from work the boiler will be on and temp in the apartment at 75° or higher. Samething at night, the boiler will be on even though I turned the system off at the thermostat. I have to go the boiler room and manually turn off the gas switch. It's an older house with steam/radiator heating and a Crown boiler, not really sure which model. The landlord is saying the boiler turns on/off at a certain water temp. But shouldn't the atmospheric temp override that? I just want the damn thing to turn on/off when I tell it to. My gas bill has nearly doubled.

Are there AGR positions in the AF? I'm AGR in the Army but if I was to join the AF or AF reserve/national guard would these active positions be difficult to get into? I've been in the army for almost 6yrs now as a wheeled vehicle mechanic, but I'm just looking for a change of pace. Something more challenging. I've always had an interest in working on helicopters, maybe even becoming a flight engineer.

Can a student visa petition be submitted for an individual whos already been sponsored for a F4 (brother, sister of adult U.S. citiizen). The wait time is significant for an F4 visa so could the individual continue college in the U.S. while waiting?

My friend took her TL to get an oil change and was told she needed to change the trans fluid because it was dirty and low. I think the shop just tried to make a sale on something unnecessary. Is there even a trans dipstick on a TL? I'm a mechanic but specialize on diesels, not much experience with honda/acura. I suggested she just have it topped off it is low because the trans might start to slip with a transmission flush. I say if it's not broke don't fix it. What's the procedure to changing the trans fluid? The car has 125k by the way
