caulking indoor window frame and trim?

What type of caulk should be used to seal indoor window frame and trim, latex or silicone?

    Latex is easier to use, and will take paint better.

    If you use silicone it is not paintable.I like it for somethings but for around trim inside I would go with the paintable latex.

    siliconized Latex . u want to be able to paint it . and easy of clean up .

    Straight silicon will not take paint and is hard to work with .

    silicone make sure you do the whole frame remove anything cracked clean with bleach on a rag being carefull make sure you do inside and outside
