I want to watch/read Vampire theme anime, any recommendation?

HELSING- Chronicles the efforts of the mysterious and secret Hellsing Organization, as it combats vampires, ghouls, and other supernatural foes who threaten England.

Chibi Vampire- It's a story is about an unusual vampire girl, who instead of drinking blood must inject it into others because she produces too much. I believe they stopped releasing the manga but the anime is good, it's about 24 episodes I believe.

Vampire Knights- This one is a little more complicated but heavy on romance and stuff. I got bored with it.

Hellsing is the best one out there. The main vampire, Alucard, is the antithesis of the recent trends seen in vampire lore.

Watch the original series though, because the OVA version is not yet complete, and they are releasing about one a year, and they are only up to DVD 6, or 4 if you watch it dubbed. Plus, the American company that dubbed and distributed them just went under, meaning it may never make it over.

Trinity Blood is mediocre, and just a rip off of Trigun and Hellsing to the point of hilarious.

Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust is good, but I don't recommend the first one.

Blood:The last Vampire is another Good anime movie.

There are some others, but they start getting a little childish, and Twighligty.

There is lots of vampire themed anime and manga. If you like gore and violence Vampire hunter D is good and Hellsing is awesome. If your more for the love story and humor go for Vampire Knight or Rosario vampire..

When you say read, do you mean Manga? If so The Record of a Fallen Vampire is very good.

Also you could try Vampire Knight.
