What is a good movie about a trial?
I need to do a report on a movie about a trial and I'm looking for some suggestions. I have thought of movies such as My Cousin Vinny and Philadelphia. What other options do I have?
Forgot to add that the report is about the lawyers in the case, so while 12 Angry Men is great, cant use it. But thanks anyway.

I watched '12 Angry Men' in year 11 Legal Studies. It is about 12 men on a jury for a murder case, and 11 of them are willing to convict a man as guilty until one of them stands up and convinces them all that the man on trial is actually innocent.
It was made in 1957, and there was a remake in 1997. It was adapted from a play written in 1954.
I think it was quite interesting, and its sole focus is around the trial and its deliberations with the jurors.

There is a documentary video about the eugenics movement in Canada on the Leilani Muir case. You can search online and possibly find it at a local library. It's a bit long but a very good documentary on the sterilization of many individuals who were considered to have low average IQs, suggestion of mental disorders, when a lot them didn't, and have average IQ's. This was believed it was in the genes and if they stopped these people from reproducing, there wouldn't be people like that today. Of course it's complete bull, and people bought it, but very good.
